 RAQUETA. NET was launched in 2007 because of the enthusiasm of two racket collector friends: Emili Bosch and Jaume Busoms. 

Back in the day, it used to be a very active website that exchanged information with different collectors from all over the world. Then there was a time when our different walks of life and other occupations, both professional and family, led the webpage to enter a period of hibernation. 

A decade passed and the webpage, with the constant changes in operating systems, became totally obsolete. In the year 2022, I thought it was a good time to reactivate it completely renewed and with a new approach. 

There were favorable conditions. A large group of racket collectors had been created, who actively exchanged information through chat. And a photographer, as well as a graphic designer, Joan Rosell, with whom in recent years I have collaborated in the creation of various professional and cultural projects (websites, book publishing, exhibitions) took on the project. 

RAQUETA.NET has the will to be a participatory website, open to other collectors showing the most significant of their collections. Open to receiving advice and contributions. Open to spreading a cultural heritage that we share: old tennis rackets.
